Jürgen Reuter is member of the DESY theory group. After his studies of physics and his Ph.D. in Darmstadt, Reuter went on to several postdoc positions in Canada and elsewhere. Reuter held guest professorships in Freiburg and Edinburgh. He works predominantly on Higgs and electroweak physics with a focus on precision calculations and simulations in the standard model and on searches for new physics / the interpretation of experimental data in relevant models. Besides his efforts for the preperation of next-generation colliders, Reuter is also working on software development and high-performance computing.
