Christian Schwanenberger

CMS experiment at LHC

Christian Schwanenberger is Leading Scientist at DESY and Professor at the University of Hamburg. He is member of the CMS Experiment at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) at CERN in Geneva and of the D0 Experiment at the Tevatron collider in Chicago. His main topics of research are elementary particle physics, in particular precision measurements of the properties of the top quark and its electroweak and strong couplings, the interaction between the top quark and the Higgs boson, searches for supersymmetric and other exotic extensions of the standard model of particle physics, and searches for dark matter.
